What about one dd as a daffodil and the other as a lamb?
Both quite simple to do.

They cam go as daffodills.

Dress them in green. Make pointy headress out of card to resemble petals.

Use yellow fabric, or yellow crepe paper, and gather it up to go round head as trumpet.

They could probably hold "something long and green" for leaves. Not sure what though!

Exactly what I was thinking fizz

You could make leaves like fairy wings.
Or if they have any fairy wings, you know the sort that goes on their back, then just cover them with green fabric or something.

Get a large cardboard box and put holes in side and 2 pieces of string as braces so box fits over child's head and legs come out the bottom. Easy to remove for toilet and sitting down. Draw, cut stick pictures of anything beginning with b on it. Or pin buttons bead etc
