<Ruby puts her pushy-mummy hat to one side and tries to be sensible>.

SATs are a few months away and I would like to have a reasonable grasp of what they should know/understand by this stage, so I can help her fill in gaps.

No probs with teacher - but dd is one of 30 of course. I am not trying to hothouse her, but rather fill in any gaps as I think this would be good for her confidence, plus help some good homework habits - if anyone noticed my painful thread on how to get DD to do her homework.

I am planning maybe 10 mins a night just to be sure she does not fall behind.

Are there summary type books of what they should know out there? Any reccommendations?

You can buy books on Amazon that are supposed to be primers for KS1 (Yr2) math, English. Ds is only Yr2 but I have ordered some Yr3 and (US) 3rd grade workbooks for DS to do extra maths (because he loves maths).

There are Educational workbooks and Sat workbooks in WHSmith. Woolworths also sell workbooks ro help with maths and english.

Ir you look around you may gat a few cheap deals.
