Primary Place Announcement

Is anyone else starting to get nervous for primary place announcements in a couple of weeks? We are very fortunate to have two excellent schools close by but put our just out of catchment one as our first choice. There's no reason to think we won't get it, but we do prefer it. Mind you if she ended up in our catchment school I couldn't be disappointed.

How're you all doing with the wait?

Yes I am getting anxious too. It's a long wait even though, like you, we have no real reason to think we won't get in.

Very nervous - we are possibly moving out of area but it would be a relief to know we have a place.

So nervous. We've just moved out of area so will be allocated place in old area and I'm terrified we won't get anywhere in new area!

Yes.

Viewed two local schools in October and we're happy with both but were swaying more towards the one near DD's preschool as it seemed the right fit. Plus it means that DS can attend the same preschool when he starts in January and he's familiar with the building and the staff already. Though we wouldn't have been disappointed with our second choice.

We've now moved, after applying, much closer to our first choice, literally around the corner, but due to a few cock ups (not on our end) I didn't have a copy of our tenancy agreement to show them until after the cut off. They've assured me that it will be based on our new address but I'm still incredibly nervous!
