Can anyone recommend any "learning websites" for DD aged 5?

Hi

A while ago (I think it was juuule) recommended the Starfall site for helping with reading which my 5 year old DD loves. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any other sites as she's read all the stories and played all the games at least twice.

Thanks.

I found this one the other day when I was looking for Xmas to do with DS1... it was good for what we wanted, however, I haven't looked around around the rest of the site.

Q-bee.co.uk is pretty good. My nearly 4 year old goes on quite a lot.

Magic key is good especially if he is doing those books at school.

Would second CBeebies and also discovered this one recently Poisson Rouge which isn't French at all but has lots of games and stuff on it

Sorry Tommy hadn't read all the posts before posting mine. Poisson Rouge is great isn't it - it was actually put together by a husband and wife team - he's English she's French and the live in the Loire hence the dual alphabet games. Think the site was originally developed as just a showcase for their web talents - they also produced the boohbah's site.

www.ictgames.co.uk is great. We use this at school with Year 1/2. It's also updated regularly.

Try educationcity.com

You have to subscribe to it but it's good. The questions change all the time on it.

Hi,
I like to use The Mouse Club (www.themouseclub.co.uk). Its a free site with no ads so I feel safe leaving my kids on it. There are stories, games and other fun stuff for children (visit the club House.
The adults section is handy too, worksheets and colouring pages.
Worth a look!
