I have 2 boys at Plymouth College. My eldest started after struggling at state school and my youngest is currently in yr1. The difference in the education compared to state school is vast. They are pushed, but it never seems too much. When first considering PCPS we were most probably in the same position as you are now, not happy and considering our options. We visited and suddenly the decision seemed simple. We regret waiting so long. If you are unhappy with where DD is now, it is time to move. Even half a term at this age is a long time. Since September my youngest has become a fluent reader, and can write sentences independently. We didn't consider King's as we did not want to move our eldest son when he reached 11.
