Hello all

Thinking of letting my DS sit the 12+ exams for Whitgift and Trinity, does anyone have any idea as to the amount of boys that sit for the 12+. Is it less competitive than the 13+ in terms of number of boys sitting to places offered. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you're interested in joining for next year (ie your son is year 6 currently), then it is worth talking to W as they may well run an additional 11+ exam after the Easter holiday? The 12+ is an odd sitting, mainly for those who have changed their minds after their 11+ choices. If you're at one of the local 13+ preps then obv 12+ isn't a supported choice....

As far as I remember only one boy joined ds's year at 12+ so it's not a particularly common entry point

There's a handful joining at 13+ but as Dr B is not a big fan of 13+ entry it's not a particularly big intake

Hi Mums, is there anybody out there who is preparing their child for 12+ exams for Bucks and Kendrick school in reading?

Have you been advised that there is a mid-year place available to be tested for at Kendrick? The school only has formal points of entry at the beginning of year 7 and year 12.
