I'm a Science teacher (18yrs exp) and the thing with s-cool is it's not exam board specific, so your kids can look up learning stuff they don't need, or miss stuff they do. I recommend buying an exam board specific revision guide: usually about 4 quid off Amazon although a combo of websites can also work. I also use GCSE bitesize which is exam board specific or Skoool.co.uk which has lots of tutorials on it. Is your dc's school signed up to Samlearning.com? My biggest recommendation is past papers and Mark schemes: the availability of which depends on the exam board. IMHO the more kids can get into the examiners brain and the way question Mark schemes work, the better they handle the paper..especially longer questions. If I can be of further help please let me know Smile

The stuff I've seen on S-cool is a bit 'bare bones'. More of a basic outline than a comprehensive resource.

GetRevising is revision resources submitted by other students. You can search by exam board. The quality is v.variable but there are a few gems on there.

TES also has a website where you can share resources.

Not overly impressed. Not in depth enough and ads very annoying. Lots of other better resources out there as others have said.

dc have used it but only in conjunction with TES, get revising, bitesize and exam board specific revision guides and workbooks and of course plenty of past papers which we downloaded (although edexcel was always hard to get hold of)
