There were a few threads on this. Generally seen as nurturing and gets good selective results. Think they've recently introduced a breakfast club which is a step in the right direction as they didnt have much wap around care.

Parents of girls seem very pleased - very nurturing, determined to get the best out of every child. Most girls go on to excellent secondary schools in general (selective indies and state) but they steer less academic girls to options better suited to them.

Do you have other DC? Boys leave at 7+ which is awkward though they too go on to good schools like Lochinver, Habs etc.

sorry for radio silence, petitprince! - no other DCs. DD is quite sporty and loves her art, drama, music etc. do you know whether it's strong in these areas?

Bug yes to art, drama and music - choir, music groups, regular celebrations where everyone gets a turn. In terms of sports, they are limited by the footprint so there isn't a pool or anything like that. But there is a gym club for all ages and all the usual sports teams like netball and the like. I believe they do tennis in later years at the adjoining club, though do check that as my info may be out of date.

Sounds like a lazy kinda place to me.

I'd see if you can get her into Standinsup instead!
