Any TEACHERS out there?? Can you explain what a PANDA Report is...

specifically the social deprivation indicator? I am doing some fundraising and the Head gave me the report incase it may help. Haven't been able to track him down to ask for clarification (Busy Man).

It compares your schools data/scores with other schools nationally with a similar catchment area. This is usually indicated in the main by the number of free school meals I think.

So an A grade would mean you were amongst the top school nationally comapred to similar schools. Think an E grade means you are one of the worst!!

OK, the social deprivation indicator nationally is 0.2 so if your school was a 0.1 would that mean you were more affluent or if it was 0.3 would that mean you are poorer?
