SAVE A SNOWFLAKE FOR DECADES

Ever seen a beautiful snowflake and wanted to keep it forever? Now you can! A simple quick and easy procedure can do just that, simply a snowflake locked in a drop of superglue. The small molecules in superglue penetrate and interlock with the microscopic forms of anything they touch. The tendencies of superglue to seep into the tiniest nooks and crannies, harden on contact with water, and solidify rapidly making it perfect for taking an impression of something that is very small and made of water.

Brian Says: "Ice crystals (i.e. snow flakes) are one of the most beautiful things in nature. That intricate pattern is a direct result of the forces that act between molecules of water, each one of which is just two hydrogens and one oxygen. Isn't it strange how such complexity and beauty can arise from such a simple thing - 3 atoms and one force (actually electromagnetism - the same thing that sticks magnets together and makes the electricity flow in wires!)"
