Starting to get my knickers in a twist for Wednesday!

I know she has passed but thats only half the story round our way - THEN they get their 'rulers out'

Anyone else staring at the letterbox?

I am, but I'm not too worried. DS1 applied to two grammar schools and the local comp; each possible outcome has something in its favour (except the nightmare scenario in which he doesn't get into any of his choices, but that's not terribly likely - I hope!)

unfortunately our local comp does not want anyone who does not put it first so its all or nothing for us! yikes

Gosh i did not realise they were all on the same day - makes sense i suppose. The whole town will be stressed out here then as getting into primaries has turned into a real lottery! Good luck!

Nothing here in sunny Streatham either. I came back from the woods to find a lovely official-looking envelope on the doorstep, only to find it was junk mail for the previous occupant.

Congratulations to Milliboy and Sacha! We haven't had a formal LEA letter yet, just the informal one from a few weeks ago. Milliways, did your letter come from the LEA? Nobody here seems to have had their LEA letters yet, and I really want to have it all in writing!

We had 2, 1 from LEA & 1 from the school, arrived together in todays post (after I had gone to work!). The teachers at school also had a full list of where each pupil was going.

1 school in our area phoned everyone today!
