Any teachers covering secondary sex education?

Just wondering if there are any teachers (or anyone else!) who could tell me to what extent homosexuality is covered in secondary school sex education up to age 16. Basically I would like to know the extent of the coverage in terms of both the emotional (sexuality) sense and also the physical sense.

Not at all in science lessons under the National curriculum
It is covered, I think, in PHSE in years 10 and 11 (14 to 16 year olds)

Are you worried about this in some way?

I used to teach PSHE and at my school it was not covered at all, on grounds of the legislation that prohibits teachers from doing anything that may be seen as 'promoting homosexuality', which I was led to believe banned by agenda 39 or something or other. At the two schools I have taught it, it has never been covered. But one of those schools was a girls school.

Thanks for your replies. Was just wondering really as we are having some concerns about my autistic brothers understanding of homosexuality and was wondering what is standard to be covered at school. His college is no doubt different (it's autism specific) but just wanted to see what is generally taught nowadays.
