Ebay Peeps,

I need some help figuring out how to insert pictures in the text of my ebay listing.

I've seen it done in listings I've viewed before (especially baby clothes) but can't find an example of it to link to, sorry....

I suspect it is a sneaky way of avoidin the £0.12 charge per photo!

Does anyone know what I am talking about and how to do it???

Do you mean as in link to pictures, like I do?

use photobucket

upload photos onto photobucket > copy html code from the photo > insert html code into the html coding of your listing > simples

Aha! I just use the direct links at photobucket, but this is a useful thing to know.

a thing i do to make it easier to know where to put the copy/paste in the html is to put a row of xxxxxx or whatever in the design view, then when you switch to html view you can easily spot where to paste.

keep an eye on photo sizes, although i believe you can change the size of the photo in design view.

Thanks to you both.
Am going to try sixlostmonkeys suggestion for the next listing!

Here's the code you need if this helps (this makes them a good size for detailed pics, but you can fiddle around with the numbers). Obviously you need to put the address of your own photos in!:

And yes, we do it to avoid the extra charge, but also because we need to post bigger pictures of details sometimes, and this is the best way of doing it!
