I'm pissed off. what do you think to this? item clearly listed as NEW, however when you read the description, the box has been opened 3 of the 4 figures have been removed and the box has been resealed.

Yes I bid in haste, and I haven't paid for it but I don't want a box with with 75% of the figures missing, it's the only bit that ds is interested in.

Link didn't work

It says it's 100% complete so I don't think any of the figures are actually missing. Just that they've been removed from the packaging and then put back.

I'd still be annoyed though if I was buying it as a present.

I agree it says 100% complete, but I think they are hiding behind wording, the 'drop ship' is complete, but

'One Shadow Trooper with blaster is included in the set some of the bags have been carefully opened (only a 1cm to 2cm gap opened in a corner, you wouldnt even notice they have been opened) to remove the figs.'

I'm going to contact them and ask, I'm don't want an incomplete set, what's the point in that!

In that case I wouldn't pay for it and would be mighty pissed off.

I agree - it is misleading and I wouldn't be happy.

I would email and say I didn't want it as it is not, despite what the title says, 100% complete.

If it were 100% it would include all 4 characters/figures.

I think you're on dodgy ground Yes, it does say the dropship is 100% complete. But even in the title it says trooper, singular, not troopers, plural. And again in the description, it does say the dropship is 100% complete, and in red it says it includes one figure.
They were just hoping for someone to scanread and infer

It definately says that only has one figure in the set. I think they were banking on someone doing what you did and not reading it properly. It is very annoying but I don't know if you could really do anythig about it as it does say the figures have been removed in the listing.

Ok, I may have no life, but I've just had a look at the seller's feedback. The negatives and neutrals are few, but are all related to vague and inaccurate descriptions. And one even says the buyer erceived an empty box, by not reading the listing closely!

What a knob or knobette (if female) the only positive is that I haven't paid for it yet.

It's really not in the spirit of christmas is it. grr

As I've got 100% feedback and I'm willing to risk a neg for this. I'm not going to pay £13 for something I don't want, even if I should have read the description more thoroughly.

I saw that too monstrunmore, poor person must have been gutted when they got the box to find it empty!

How old is the child its for? (I'm assuming its a child not a dh!). Old enough to wait till after xmas when back in stock on lego website?

ds is 4.

I'll get it if I see it somewhere else, and not bother with ebay this time!

he's at the age where it's difficult to gage what they want as they want every bloody advert that comes on, even it's a doll! having said that he does want some storm trooper figures.

Cheappinkfizz - sellers can no longer give buyers negatives and if they leave a negative comment with a positive rating then you can get it removed.

Worst thing they can do is open an unpaid item dispute and you might get a strike for non payment but that's better than wasting £13. If you do get a strike you can try appealing and saying you felt the listing was misleading.

I buy and sell alot on ebay and I think this listing was worded to mislead, I would have thought the same as you did.

i think you would have a case against them since they claim the "set" is 100% complete. Assuming the figures are included in the "set", which if they are listed on the original Lego box I would have thought was a valid assumption, then they have not sold a 100% complete set.

I agree, the set is not 100% complete, it is missing some of the figures.

This should have been hade much clearer imo.

you should really log a complaint about it.
especially if their feedback rating says they've done similar before.
