Hi there am new to selling on ebay. I am selling 4 lovely unwanted items on ebay, they are brand new, perfect gifts and will be a real bargin at this rate (not giving actual details here as I realise I am not allowed to advertise here).

Wondered if any of you experienced ebay sellers could tell me if you think its worth listing the items in mumsnets selling pages- will cost me £5 to register with the CAT thing and don't want to spend this if its not worth it.

I keep thinking about this too, but then end up using ebay.

I guess with ebay, you know you list if for a certain time, and if it has bids on it it will go, if not you just relist.

You dont have to keep checking your emails either.

I have already listed my items on ebay with no reserve (really want to make some cash). No bids yet though and they are great items which I think might be of interest to any mumsnetters looking for gifts. But trying to save pennies so don't want to waste my £5.

Think I have seen other posts on MN telling people about items thay have listed on ebay.

£5 for a year is hardly a waste, you can list loads of things over the year for that

I've both bought and sold on MN and with no problems just make sure you use paypal and cover yourself, don't do bank transfers/cheques.

You need the Ebay selling challenge thread. We all link to our items on there. Not sure how many other people look though.
