I should say item hasn't arrived yet, but don't anticipate a problem....
I recently bid on 3 separate listings for H&M babygrows. I won each of them at the starting price of 99p.
About 8 hours before the listings finished, I sent a message to the seller just confirming that she combined postage. I didn't get a reply, but then I thought perhaps she hadn't checked mails.
Once I'd won, I send a request for an invoice, and she sent me 3 separate invoices, each for the 99p win, plus £2.50 for second class postage. I emailed back again to say that £7.50 for a second class parcel of 3 babygrows is pretty steep, and surely she'd combine.
She wrote back saying that actually she was very disappointed with the sale prices, and that she'd paid £17.99 EACH for these in H&M. Whilst I understand she's disppointed with the low selling price, she can't really use the postage to bump it up, and as the babgrows are currently for sale in my local store at £4.99/£7.99, I resent being told porkies. Eventually she agreed on £5 postage for 3 - still pretty steep - but I know it was my fault for not checking that she combined postgae before bidding.
Assuming they're fine when they arrive, I will of course leave a positive, but would you be tempted to leave a comment? Or am I just a grumpy old lady these days?
