eBay

If you no longer sell on ebay - where do you sell instead???

I have boxes and boxes of stuff, books, niknaks, god knows what to get rid of.

Had been planning to ebay, then carboot, then freecycle (in that order), But ebay just seems to be shite for sellers now, and I can't do the car boots.

Really need to make some cash from it all before I give the remainder away on Freecycle...

Not sure about Gumtree - heard/read lots of bad reports about it - and when I've looked I've never seen any of the "little stuff" - you know the sort of thing that would go for £1-2 on ebay but as you've got so much/many of them you still end up with something at the end.

So where do I sell it all???

I have only ever sold on Gumtree & ebay, so not sure. There is a site called ebid, but that is usually where sellers who have been banned from ebay go to! Plus things dont seem to sell well there.

You could try your local free ads paper, or preloved.

why not try listing it on gumtree as a job lot for carbooting? You mgiht get some interest.

problem is there's some bits that are really too good for car boot - that's why I was going to ebay it all, then after relisting once what wasn't sold carboot, then what didn't sell after that freecycle. Can't see me getting round to in the next week or so so not sure why I'm worrying really.

That preloved looks ok actually - and as it's free won't lose anything if it doesn't sell.....
