I am selling a few bit on ebay and forgt to put postage to uk only, and 2 people have emailed asking how much is postage to belgium.
Not sure whether to say sorry, i dont send abroad, or just to have a guess at postage price and send it (its only a girl's dress)>
Also how does it work with payment, can they pay in euros?

TIA

Hi, I in the past have posted abroad if people asked me too and actually have never had any problems. Only thing is, if buyer claims non receipt and you haven't insured it like recorded (and lets face it no one would want to pay it either as too expensive) then you won't be covered through paypal anyway.

You'll be surprised on cost though for just standard, as it won't cost much more to post. Up to you really! If they pay using paypal then the conversion just happens automatically, you won't notice any difference.

HTH?

Oh if you go on royal mail website they will tell you the price. I have small digital scalesand weigh everthing to keep as fair as possible and also so i don't lose out!

I'm selling on ebay for the first time and received a similar query - I weighed the item on my electonic kitchen scales, added a bit for packaging - on the royal mail website you put in weight and country and gives options - I used the postage price for sending it "international signed for" which is like recorded.

very wise newlark! I think it just gets silly prices for US and stuff, europe not too bad maybe?

Half my stuff seems to go to people in Europe - I send International Signed For for stuff under £30, or Airsure for more expensive stuff (except Italy, cos they don't do Italy... you can still get insurance though, andd luckily my buyer was happy).

Every 20g makes a difference so weigh after packing your item and labelling it!

Hi I reguarly sell on ebay and post alot to Europe and have never had any problems. If you are posting first class you just need to add a pound this more than covers the cost.

Oh and you need to say pay pal only from Europe and you will be paid by pounds straight into your account.
