I sold a leather jacket on Ebay last week. I posted it to the buyer who lived in northern Ireland. I received an email on Monday saying simply 'where's my jacket?'. He received it yesterday and wrote again saying it was 'a disgrace', was the wrong size and he wanted his money back or he'd give me 'damning feedback'. Also another email threatening ' reply within 24 hours or else...' Fine I said, send it back and you can have a refund.

Today he writes asking for my address and demanding his postage is paid too.

I wrote back with our address but also said I hoped I could sell it to someone more grateful and that he was a very rude man... it was all a bit of an impulse and now I really regret it! I'm scared!

No reply from him yet...

Standing up for yourself seems a good idea. The best ebay sellers are 'negged' occasionaly, sometimes justifiably, sometimes not. If the jacket was the wrong size, I suppose he is probably entitled to his expenses, but escalating the argument to throwing a brick through your window is very unlikely in the grand scheme of things. And he doesn't know about your enormous alsation/irish cousin/... :-)
