How much do you get charged to do it?

How do I work out postage?

What length of listing is best?

What's a decent start price?

With kids toys am I better to bundle or seperate?

The fees are here

Postage - weigh the item, add a bit of leeway for packaging, then check out postage cost on the Royal Mail postal tariff chart. I then add on 50p to cover packaging. I use professional mailing bags (bought on Ebay). If you need bubble wrap, check out the mushrooms and organic apples in the supermarket

Listing length - I generally go for either 10 days starting on a Thursday, or 7 days starting on a Sunday. I aim to finish on a Sunday whatever length I go for.

Start price - up to you. I tend to start all at 99p (sometimes 95p so if people sort by price you'll be higher up). Some people start at the minimum they'd be prepared to sell for. I work on the 'win some lose some' principle, and am rarely disappointed by the selling price.

Kids toys - depends. Have a search of completed listings and see what other similar items have sold for. With baby toys, unless it's something of particular interest or value, I'd say bundle.

Remember to include Paypal fees in your estimations of how much you'll 'make'. They charge 20p plus 3.4% of all money you receive this way.
