feedback for seller

Have never left negative feedback in 3 years of buying on ebay but 3 weeks ago I bought something & had it sent abroad to nephew. Seller charged me £8 post, I thought fair enough probably registered, but it arrived with £1.24 on envelope! I emailed seller about this 8 days ago but have had no reply. I agreed to postage but am really peeved that seller hasn't even answered my mail - am I out of order to leave neg feedback now?

The cost is for postage and packaging, was it something they will have had to wrap well?

It sounds a big mark up but to be fair you did agree on the £8 P&P cost in the first place.

no was a nintendo game tiny but well wrapped. Yes I know I agreed to post - hence my nagging doubt about feedback. Suppose I should just give minimum stars on post bit?

Message again. be polite and say you think they may have made an error with the P&P charge and that you are sure they will now give you a partial refund.

I'm usually of the mind that buyers know the p&p before they buy etc etc, but this is a BIG difference and if they ignor your messages then that's 2 points that deserve a non positive FB imh

Tbh I think if the seller hasn't replied by now he's not going to.

I take it when you say he shipped it abroad to your nephew that's a different address to the one you have on Paypal?

If so then the seller was very kind to you as really it should only be shipped to the address listed on Paypal as personally I wouldn't have done that, I would have sent it to your registered address.

Yes the charges are high but you did agree to them so I would say leave positive with something like 'Lovely item but postage quite high' & mark him down on his stars.

I don't think it's fair to leave neg/neutral when you agreed to the postage & also the seller agreed to post it abroad for you IYKWIM?

Well I agree that you know how much postage is when you buy ,but this is too big a difference to be reasonable.

I would leave at least a nuetral for the postage and bad communication.
