Any tips on what I could sell?

I need to get rid of loads of stuff to clear space and I also need to make money.

I've sold the odd item of clothing, the odd console game...a few dvds...but alot of stuff I put on does not sell so I end up with massive ebay fees and no profit.

Any idea what sells well on ebay? what should I be searching the house for?

easiest thing is to check completed listings for what other stuff sold for

brand new stuff, still packaged, are the only things i have found to sell well.

Oh, and a manky old Sindy i found in my grans loft

I have found ladies clothes don't sell unless designer labels and in vg condition.
Toys have always done well esp v tech and elc.
Never had much luck with dvd's although kids ones usually do ok.
Books are bit hit and miss but sold a few parenting ones.
Am just trying some kids bundles of clothes so don't know about them yet but the designer ones usually do well.
Have done ok with wii , ds games.
Brand new in packaging does well too.

Gumtree is free and good if you just want to test the waters. As you say, no point listing something on eBay if it doesn't sell.
