I honestly do not understand how cashback sites work!

This is "How cashback sites work" directly from Martin Lewis's site

"Cashback sites take advantage of the way commercial payments from one website to another work. They simply list product providers and retailers, and when you click through to these websites, they get paid for ?providing leads?; in a similar, but not identical way to how most web-adverts usually work. Yet with a cashback site, when you?re logged in, the revenue raised from your click is attributed to you so the site can pay you some or all of the money it receives."

Is that a referral link though?

I'd like to know if its a referral link too as on the link it says that you get £1 for every friend that you refer - if its a referral link you stand to make a fair bit from Mners that join!

£50 of it was from a child trust fund bond I did, £16 was from doing a free 14 day trial for Lovefilm.com which cost me nothing.

£4 was from claiming my free prints for joining photobox.

If you log on to the site it tells you how much of a percentage you get for each retailer.

I got cash for shopping on line at New Look and Dorothy Perkins as well as Argos.

All those were purchases I was making anyway I might add so it cost me nothing to do them through the cashback site.

I think that is a referral link. If so, it's a bit rude not to mention that you'll get something for everyone that signs up.

If that is a referral is it OK to advertise on here like that?
