This listing scroll to the bottom of the description....

I'm browing prams in my area that I could collect & noticed this seller has stated that collection is ok but carries a £10 "handling charge" hmm

Surely that's not allowed is it??

it sounds like a business but it doesnt suggest it in the name.
maybe if it is a businnes you could understand if they have wages/overheads to pay, but i wouldnt be happy with it if i was to win it.

I've seen this before, it's because they might have to package it up or help you to load it into your car. hmm They're not allowed to charge you for collection after the auction has ended, without letting you know in advance but they are allowed if it's mentioned in the listing, from what I can gather.

I still think it's a bit cheeky though.

but they should start the price to cover the £10 handling charge imo.

nope, it's legal...

but to be avoided, imho

I had no idea they could get away with that!

There's no way I will be bidding then - I don't see how they can charge £10 when I'll be the one driving to collect it hmm
