How long does it take for a listing to appear on ebay?

Sorry, I know another MNer just asked this question recently but I can't find the thread! Have just listed an item but it's not showing up if I search for it. How long does it take?

Usually instant when I've done it

Depends how busy they are at the time apparently - keep checking. Longest I've had was 6 hours
