Hello, I've sold an item for 99p just now and would like to know whether they can auctomatically pay you or whether you need to do something first like send the invoice? I must be asking a really stupid question but one can't be too careful. Many thanks.

Yeh They can auotmatically pay through paypal, if you look at ur ebay page They'll be a heading saying "items i have sold" and underneath it will say (in blue) buyer ID, QTY, SALE PRICE, TOTAL PRICE, FORMAT, SALE DATE, ACTION. Then there are some simbols in circles, one looks like a supermarket trolley, the next is a pound sign and so on. If you move your mouse underneath the pound sign in the circle over the other one (there should be two one in a circle and one underneath either blue or like a grey colour) it will say "This item has been paid for through PayPal" if its been paid. I usually wait a day and if it hasnt been paid them i'll send an invoice, most pay before but some do wait until they have recieved there invoice.

Hope this helps?

You need to send them the invoice with the total including postage given.

The email that tells you who won should tell you their address, so you can work out the postage.

yeh but they can pay without recieving the invoice, the postage would of already been on the auction.
