Selling a broken PS2 on ebay

I'm planning to sell a broken Playstation 2 on ebay. This isn't as bad as it sounds as I am obviously going to be completely upfront about the fact that it doesn't work.

I'm hoping it will appeal to the type of people who buy broken stuff, tinker with them, fix them and then sell them on...

Am I likely to sell it or is it daft to list something that is broken?

Also, if it did sell, how would I send something so heavy? I've never sent anything bigger than an envelope before.

You'd be surprised what people buy on Ebay. We have sold broken electrical stuff on there, and of course we were totally upfront about the condition of it.

Have a look on the Post Office website, there will be a guide for p&p charges for parcels.

People do them up and sell them as reconditioned. As long as you let them know it's broken you should be OK

As long as you're completely honest don't see anything wrong with it all - loads of people buy broken items for spares etc!

I would personally send it by this courier it's only £6.99 & fully tracked.

You might find it's cheaper then sending it via Royal Mail
