I sold a tee shirt. Accidentally put under category of men’s clothing (rather than ladies) but main description clearly states female but he’s taken over 2 months to get back to request a refund. I understand they should request within 30 days. Any other insights

eBay won’t assist with this, as their seller protection is only valid for 30 days. PayPal however, offers protection for 180 days.

Not all buyers realise this though so if you refuse the eBay return it’s a luck of the draw whether they Will Persue the matter with PayPal.

If you reject their return request (through eBay) then they have the right to leave negative feedback.

I would accept the return as you admit to misdescribing the item, but it’s your choice to make, at this stage.

A tee-shirt? It can't be that expensive, surely? Are they really that mean as to want to return a tee-shirt after 2 months?
They should have read the advert properly, shouldn't they?

Ebay is so shit for sellers.
I've had to pay for 2 items of clothes to be returned to me so I can refund the buyers.
The first was 'too small' despite my putting the measurements in cm & inches on the listing and asking buyers to double-check before buying.
The second was a woman who wanted to return a jacket which wasn't the right shade of gold...the listing had loads of photos in natural daylight...represented the colour perfectly.
eBay sided with both of the muppets!

That's 2 this week and I only sell my own things so probably 1 item a week max.
