Best time to sell

I've dropped a dress size and have quite a few clothes that are just too big now that I'd like to sell. A good majority of it is more summer, holiday type stuff, like pretty floaty dresses, light sleeveless tops etc. I want to get a reasonable price. So unsure whether people are looking for that type of clothing yet what with the weather being so cold lately. So my dilemma is do I list now and free up some wardrobe space and risk stuff selling for 99p or hang on to it all and maybe wait till sometime in April or even beginning of May when i just might get a better price?

Personally I've found selling summer stuff in April /May sells better, I have a load of kids stuff to list and I'm waiting until after Easter.

Can you bag or box it all up and store it somewhere for a few weeks? Then you can start on buying your new wardrobe 😁

Thanks both, had kind of worked out probably better to wait a bit. Just itching to get rid of it. I do need to have a mammoth trying on session as I'm sure some stuff still looks okay as oppose to just too big! Will do that then will bag it up and wait till end of April

You could list then now at the buy it now price you want. Ebay lets you list things until they sell now, not just for 30 days.

That's a good idea, might consider that. Thanks!

I would start listing now - you could at least make a start and save them in 'draft' for a while until you decide when you want them listed.
I've already sold quite a few summery tops already and had good prices for them.
I would think that buyers would start looking over easter - a bank holiday is always a good time to have items at auction. You can just keep relisting them if you don't get the price you want now (I never start at 99p)
Good luck.
