eBay

Do they email you when your order arrives at Argos?

I had notification that my item had been posted over a week ago, but have heard nothing about collecting it.

I know it says to wait until you get an email, but is there anything else I need to do?

I'm a bit pissed off as I paid for it on 31st Jan! I need the item tomorrow too. I have emailed the seller but no response.

Considering going to Argos on the off chance it is there!

Yes, you should have received an email with a code, which you will need to pick up your package. If it is there and you turn up without a code, they won’t give you your parcel.

Check the sales record for the item on your eBay account. It might tell you if it’s arrived at Argos or not. I know you can see this info as a seller, but not sure if it will apply to buyers too.

Another suggestion is check your junk mail, if you have received an email it may have been diverted there. If still no luck, try calling ebay, they should be able to clarify if Argos have your parcel or not.

TBH if the seller isn’t responding to your messages and you haven’t received any notifications I’d put my money on it not have being sent..... what’s the sellers feedback like?

Her feedback is 100%, so this is curious.

I had this with an Argos one too. Saying it had been posted but no code or confirmation of delivery or anything. I emailed the seller before opening a case. Seller said the item got damaged in transit, and refunded me same day I messaged. Message the seller first and ask what's going on, or open a non received case. Sellers prefer a message first if I'm honest. It annoys me if sellers open up cases without talking to me about it first, but maybe that's just me!
