Best/Worst Times to Ebay

I always used to think the run-up to Christmas was a bad time to eBay and spring was the best but actually I think I've been proved wrong this year. Sold tons of stuff (random assortment of clothes, toys and household goods as am de-cluttering) in the run up to Christmas whereas since about February things haven't been selling well or at all and I've had tons of time wasters.

Has anyone noticed anything similar or are you finding now a good time of year to sell?

All I know is that Sunday evening at 730pm is the best time to close bids.....statistics have shown that from their website

I've always seen sold well in the run up to Christmas (recycling unwanted gifts, kids toys) and in Spring (previous years kids clothes/shoes etc). January - March is generally tumbleweed!

I do seem to be getting more time-wasters though; returns for silly reasons which I've had to accept rather than get a negative.

It depends what you are selling.

Stuff suitable as presents we find goes well Oct to Dec with November being generally our best month of the year for expensive items.

On the other hand Jan and Feb tends to be the best months for tableware etc.

Apr to Jul tends to be our quietest time of the year unless it is raining and then we do better!

Any day where there is a big news story or sports event tends to be diabolical.
