Anything I should know about buying DS games on ebay?

Would like to buy the game harvest moon for DD birthday next month but its not released in the UK until June. Had a quick look on ebay and there are lots on there, all new and sealed.

Is there anything I should be careful of? I've always been wary of buying cheap new DVDs in case they are the wrong region or have a different default language?

Is the same true for nintendo games etc?

They're probably other region games. You might be better reserving it on Amazon if you can afford it or waiting till its release & shop around

All DS games are region free. Thats the best thing about cartridge games. You would be better off getting the US version though as the Japanese version will be in Japanese.

My copy of The Sims 2 is the US version.

It just has a black plastic box rather than a clear one.

What games are you looking for?

I have a brand new, never opened Sims 2 game for the DS Lite that I need to sell and/or swap for a different one - duplicate present.

I don't think there's any real problem with it unless there's fraud or something, no more than eBay generally. I got Nintendogs for dd from a US seller, and it was fine- as Bexie says, they're region free.
