I bought a shower tray and sliding glass door from eBay from a bathroom retailer. The item is huge and it is getting fitted today. This can't wait as we've been without a shower forever for 10 days.now.
The fault is 3 big dents on the aluminium bit that holds the door on and the aluminium has been squashed at the top.
I can straighten it out with a hammer. It won't look perfect but I really can't wait to ask for a replacement.
I haven't left feedback.
Shall I message the sellers? Shall I just chalk it up to bad packaging? Would they offer a partial refund?
Totally lost as to what to do.

The goods shouldn't have arrived damaged (why it arrived like that is not your problem). But If you start to use it now, then you undermine (remove) your case to ask for partial refund or full refund or anything.

You could contact the seller to explain what you're unhappy about & maybe they could give you small partial refund as a good will gesture (to save their feedback... and if I were them I would both part refund & next put you on my blocked bidders list).

Thanks for your response.
It's getting fitted in 30 minutes DH tells me!!!
I'll send the sellers a message, I suppose if nothing else, they will pack the aluminium better for future customers.
