Buyer wants to pay on collection- anything to worry about?

Auction ended last night and she has just emailed to say shes having trouble with paypal and wants to pay on collection.

I've never had this before as i rarely use ebay. Is there anything for me to be wary of? And how long is a reasonable time to wait for collection?

The item is less than £20. Thanks all.

If she's paying cash I wouldn't see a problem.
Wouldn't it save you PayPal fees?

You must accept only cash for a collection item - you have no recourse without proof of postage if they raise a claim.

Agree with Apple, never ever use paypal for an item that is being collected.

The only problem I have had with this is people try to haggle when they arrive.

If she's collecting then you should only take cash anyway. If she pays via PayPal then claims she never got it, you have no proof of delivery.

She never turned up anyway. Twice! Such a PITA. I'm relisting it. Thanks anyway.

Honestly, why the heck do some people do this, I just don't get it. Hope you have better luck next time.
