Possibly Illegal and dangerous item bought from ebay....

I bought a mobile phone from a UK supplier. It has (eventually) arrived with a chinese plug and very dodgy looking adaptor. Some googling tells me that this breaks a couple of different laws and that the set up is a fire risk and dangerous to use.

The seller is offering to send me a different 3 pin plug charger, but this won't be original to the phone and given what they have already sent I'm not sure I'd trust it either.

There were also accessories missing from the phone.

Seller has offered to accept a return, however I would be responsible for v expensive tracked and signed postage (I'm not in UK). I don't feel like I should be €€ out of pocket for their bad practice, and also that they shouldn't be selling these products at all.

WWYD? Should I report to ebay? Do they care anyway? And can I get seller to pay for the return postage if I return it?

Open a not as described case. eBay should give you pre paid label to return the phone, and once it arrives you will be refunded in full.
