I despair at some eBay buyers....

Sold a pair of ladies snow boots for £1.04 last week (!!). Posted them out. Got a message from the seller today saying she was very disappointed that they had some mud on them and asking for a partial refund to compensate her for the time it would take her to clean them!!!!! From £1.04. FFS.

Just sent her a v passive aggressive email saying she could perhaps expect some mud on snow boots, they look clean in the ebay listing pics, and to have a lovely day and enjoy her bargain snow boots.

Would you have cleaned them if they sold for more?

Hahahahaha, what on earth? I would be tempted to refund her 2p "as a goodwill gesture" Grin

I did clean them!! On the pics in the listing they look clean - you can't see a speck of mud on them. I always make sure boots etc. are clean when selling - why wouldn't you?

They were only worn a couple of times and they were in fab condition.

Oh right. I thought, from your original post, that the photos suggested they were clean but they actually weren't.
Let us know if you hear back from her, the cheeky mare!

You keep saying in the 'photos they were clean' though not that they were actually clean.

Although she's being daft.

They were clean! I did clean them. But how crap - to get a bargain pair of boots then complain about having to clean them...

I think because you didn't mention the mud and it wasnt in the photos she may be able to complain but she'd be bloody cheeky if she did.
