So Royal Mail posted a card through my door saying I have a under paid parcel waiting for me at depot with £3.60 to pay.
I THINK it's for an item I brought off eBay but not 100% sure. Obviously I want the item as I brought it but have already paid £2.95 p&p. do I bite the bullet and pay and collect? Or what are my other options? TIA

Had this last week with an underpaid letter from an ebay seller. 1.00 of it will probably be a admin fee. They most likely paid postage for a small parcel when it was actually a medium parcel. Don't know what the official ebay policy is on this but most decent sellers will obviously refund you the extra.

Personally I'd collect the parcel then try to claim back from the seller but it depends on the value of the item and your curiosity as to whether it's an ebay parcel or not.

See now I'm wondering if it is that parcel! I just looked at the sellers eBay feedback and its 100% positive with the same item being brought and sent with the same p&p cost more than once recently.
And the sender hasn't used my full first name (that i always fill forms, enay etc in) So guess I'm going to have to pay it and find out & now it's going to be bugging me until tomorrow morning Confused

this happened to me as a seller, once. PO's own label fell off, argh. Impossible to claim back for, realistically. I never put postage label on plastic bags now. I refunded the seller & apologised, but wasn't really my fault anyway.

Oh no what a pain! I have noticed how easily the labels come off of some of the plastic bags before, possibly why do much mail goes missing too.
