I've bought something today which was listed as collection only, and I won for £3.01. Despite being listed as collection only it has a postage cost of £6.19 shown, so if I try to pay by PayPal it tries to pay all £9.20. I have contacted the seller who says he has no idea why postage is shown - he seems to know as little about eBay as me
So, what do I do? I actually don't mind if there's no way round it but to pay the whole amount. The seller said to pay by PayPal and he will refund the postage. But could I just give him cash on collection? I'm worried he could then claim I haven't paid him?
Sorry to ask such a stupid question. But embarrassed that I don't really understand how this whole thing works!
