Wilf is going to be really upset. He has had his eye on a specific Sesame Street tee shirt and it ended last night. It had a starting price of 99p and £3.99 p&p. I bid £1.10 and won it. I went to pay this morning and they have cancelled the purchase and not given a reason........Can I ask them why and if I contact ebay what do I say to them???

In fact I have checked it again and I got it for 99p.......Do you think they have cancelled because I got it so cheaply???

Probably.

  1. Do not agree to the cancellation. If they cant do you the decency of explaining don't bloody agree!

  1. Pay for it! That way they can't file a Non Paying Bidder against you. They will either admit defeat and send it, or more likely refund your payment.

  1. When they refund fill in a Non Performing Seller Report, then leave a nice shiny negative and 1 star across the board.

If they wanted more than 99p they should bloody start it at more than 99p.
I HATE sellers like this. Go get em!

He has sent me a rather dubious message saying that the colour has run in the wash and the tee shirt is in an unsaleable condition..........Hmm What do I do now??? I am not sure I believe him............Confused

do nothing, except leave bad feedback and report as nps.

I think for the sake of 99p I'd call his bluff and ask him to send it anyway, tell him your son only wanted it to play in.

Watch him squirm. Then again I'm a cow hehe

How do I report a nps.........?

Sorry to be a pain what shall I say. Surely he must known before and withdrawn the shirt??

tell him you paid and expect the item which he advertised - and btw his postage charge seems pretty extortionate.

Why would you take the photo to sell the item and then wash it? I don't believe a word of it! Postage charge is 1p short of the maximum you can charge for that type of item. They sound like greedy buggers to me.

I won a no added sugar baby grow for £6 (a good chunk of that was postage) and the seller took about a week to post it. I suspect because they were pissed off I got it too cheap. I hate ebay.

Thanks for your help everyone. I have filed a report and also given negative feedback just stating that he was a nonperforming seller and that I had reported him to Ebay. Gave him 1 star for everything and his feedback has dropped to 97.1 percent!!! Serves him bloody well right too!! I will watch his profile and heaven farking help him if that tee shirt miraculously turns up again!!! Hmm

Hope you find another from a more decent seller.

Shit.............Just realised I have done everything before he has refunded................ I expect he won't pay my money back now or will Ebay make him?

they will make him if he doesn't do it voluntarily - don't worry. You just need to wait to escalate the case - 10 days isn't it? It will tell you in the resolution centre.

Ebay have contacted me to say he has been dealt with. He has refunded my money too and not commented on my negative feedback............
Thanks again for helping me sort my problems out!

Nice one Lottie. Sorry he didn't get his shirt though Sad

Sellers like that have no place on eBay. It's not difficult to start an item at a price you are happy with is it?

Well he must have checked his feedback..........He has come back to me to say he has washed it and it isn't as bad as he thought and did I still want it? Err no! I replied and told him this and he replied and said he was disappointed that I had given him negative feedback before we could sort our problems out! He declined to give me a reason initially and hasn't been great hence the feedback!

bit late for him to be affronted and try to resolve surely?

Sounds like he'd got a better offer and that dropped through to me.

Bet it will be relisted before the weekend is over
