eBay

After opening a case for non-payment, how long before I can relist?

I wonder if you could help, please? I've haven't used ebay as a seller for a couple of years you see.

I listed a designer handbag at the end of last week, with a low starting price and a 'buy it now' price. It sold within half an hour of listing, which I was very surprised about. However, and despite a reminder, the buyer still hasn't responded or paid for the item.
So I'm about to open a case and wondering how long I have to wait to relist the item if they still don't pay (I'm not hopeful, why do people do this!). I think they are given so many days to respond?

open the case then close 4 days later - and then you can relist it.

Thank you, I've now opened a case.

I wonder why they do it, bidding or buying with no intention of paying? The money ought to be on its way to my account by now (the bag was expensive), instead I have to wait days to relist and start the process over again Angry

make sure when you do sell it you send with signature to prove delivery with adequate insurance. Courier like Collect+ or My Hermes may be cheaper than special delivery.
