eBay

PayPal question

I ordered some things online (not ebay) and paid through PayPal.

The order to ages to be sent out and before it was dispatched a lot of the order had been reduced. When I spoke to customer services they said they'd refund the difference but haven't as yet.

Also, one of the items was missing from the order. I've emailed but not received a reply yet.

Am I covered by PayPal like I would be if I'd bought something via eBay?

Providing you are still within the 45 day claim limit then yes Paypal Buyer protection still exists and you can open a claim with them for your missing item.
I don't think they can do anything about refunding the price difference for you though.
They have the same restrictions as on Ebay about what is covered, so services, intangible items, customised items etc... are not eligible.
You would just need to use the links in the Paypal Resolution Centre to open your claim and take it from there.
