The dreaded payment pending

Anyone seen this where it says unclaimed (multicurrency)?

Just paid for something got paymen pending on eBay and it says this on my PayPal account

Have emailed seller to make sure email address is right.

Can it be anything else?

no it will be the wrong email address - if you log into paypal you can find which address it went to and send a copy of that email to the seller.

This happened to me and eBay advises that you contact the seller and request a new invoice with the correct PayPal details and cancel the unclaimed payment immediately.

I did this but the way in which the seller sent the new invoice meant I had to pay direct through PayPal, not via the invoice, luckily my item did arrive but it was a risk. Ebay advises against this as you will be no longer protected, I'm sure in my case it was a way for the seller to avoid fees.

Seller has got the payment and its shown as paid in my account
