problem with ebay losing my description..anyone else had this?

I listed some items last week on the free listing weekend. A couple of these were done using the "sell similar item" . Today a buyer pointed out that the descriptions didn't match the item and when I looked the descriptions had reverted to the template and the description I had submitted originally had disappeared. Luckily it was only 2 items, the others I had done from scratch so they were ok. Has anyone else had this happen? There was maintenance this weekend so I wondered if this had caused the problem. A pain though and I couldn't re-do because items are finishing.
