Sold some things which have since been pinched...what shall I do?

What do I do about this, I sold a load of dolls clothes and they have gone missing. The only thing I can think is that when I went to a car boot sale I must have left the car unlocked with them in it and someone has helped themselves!!! Do I just refund the buyer if they have paid and what do I do if they haven't yet paid? I'm really bloody upset about it, that was going to be xmas present money....grr.

yes refund the buyer and send them a cancellation request to get your fees back.

Can you believe that the buyer that I refunded has now left me negative feedback claiming I have sold them privately and ebay wont remove it even though they can look through my messages to see I havent done this....argh!
