I haven't got a problem with ebay, I just wondered what others views were. When I look at items and then read the descriptions a lot of sellers put additional 'terms' in them. I mean 'terms' very loosely. Things like...
- I cannot be responsible for items going missing in the post
- Please pay within 24 hours
- I sell good quality items that I would like to receive, I describe them as I see them, if there is a spot I apologise as I have made a mistake
- No returns.
I know that I just need to pay within 4 days, if there is a problem with the item not arriving or not being described properly I can open a case. Why do people include these phrases, have they had bad experiences in the past? I understand the payment thing when they say they can only get to the PO on X or Y and I appreciate the information.
However I tend to avoid these sellers as I think that if there is a problem, they aren't going to be very helpful and I would have to go through ebay / paypal.
