This might well be karma for me opening a 'not as described' case earlier this week.

I sold two items this week to the same buyer. They are claiming that one of the items has been adapted and is therefore not as described and wants to return both.

I'm positive that the item is as it was manufactured (with general wear and tear, as described) but have offered a refund upon return of items.

There's no real point to this thread other than I'm a bit miffed as it's going to be a pain for me to relist and costly for the buyer to return them.

I can see 2 negs coming my way Sad and feeling a bit down about eBay at the moment which is most unlike me as I am a big fan of eBay buying and selling.

No word from buyer and it's been 24hrs since I emailed her. Do you think she'll just return without communicating first? I haven't sent her my address but my house number/postcode would be on the original address label from when I sent the items to her.

Both items need to be sent with a courier and she mentioned before I sent them to her that she'd be unavailable after oct 2nd so needed them before that date.

Once I've received the items, can I cancel the transaction to get my fees back? Would that then mean that she can't leave neg FB?

I wouldn't mind so much but both items with postage add up to almost £300 Sad

Yes you can cancel the transaction to get your fees back - but if the buyer doesn't agree to the cancellation you won't get the final fees refunded to you.
