Hello - have been clearing out toyboxes, have some secondhand toys to ebay (mostly Playmobil) but was wondering if it would be better to wait a bit? Does everyone go on holiday and stop buying?

yes, everyone goes on holiday and stops buying (don't they realise I need their money!?) october -> xmas is the best time for toys (and most other things)

Thanks, I thought probably that was the case. Bit of a problem that the only time I have to sort it all out is in the holidays!

How about sorting it out, photographing it, then packing it away (just don't forget where you put it lol) then when nearer the time you are all ready to go!

What maxybrown said, you could actually list it all with a start date next year sometime, and then when you want them to start go through and click them all back to start listing immediately

or upload them all with turbo lister - then send them to eBay when you want the listings to start.

Maxy, I did that last night. Took me 3 hours. Stuff is driving me mad (which I why I want rid!) It's now in boxes in spare room.

Grin yes doubt you'll last til then - know how you feel. What have you got for sale anyway? Grin

Playmobil. Was driving me nuts. All boys do with it is deconstruct it into tiny pieces of plastic and scatter it around the house. They have now moved onto Lego, which isn't a lot better to be honest.

And some ELC pirate stuff.

All now boxed and in the roof, as husband was going up there for something else. I'll probably forget it's there now!
