eBay

New to Ebay - more than 10 listings in a month?

Following a clearout, I have listed my first ebay items tonight.
I did 10 and then it told me I had to register my bank account to do more...is this normal or because it's a free weekend...or have I just given my account details to a scammer??!!
I've now got to wait 2/3 days apparently - please can someone reassure me that this is all normal for ebay and when it's done can I add unlimited items
Thanks

Can't remember the ins and outs of ebay when I started but think this is normal. They need details of an account where they can draw their % of your sales. They do this on a monthly basis.

I am assuming you have a paypal account (if not you may want to set one up, this can be done via the Ebay website). This will enable people to pay you (using paypal) directly.

In the years I have been ebaying I have never had any problems with them or their means of getting paid.

Rest easy, you have not been scammed as far as I can tell.

I was planning to do it all with paypal - I have to verify my account but my card is already linked.

I am so confused with all the charges, I'd never even used eBay until last week when I made my first purchase!

I was only allowed to list one bloody item the other night, very irritating. I on't have online banking either so have to actually go into the branch

When I first registered few years ago, you didn't have to faff about like this.

Thank you pixie - it's my paypal account that I've had to faff with so I will rest easy and hopefully list my stuff when I'm approved.

It does seem to be quite complicated but the alternative is getting up at stupid o'clock for a car boot sale so I'm determined to crack the mysteries of ebay.
