What would you say is a healthy weight to aim for?
I am 22, 5 ft 6 inches and 109 lbs. I am technically underweight (couple years of restricting too much has led me here) and feel I should gain a bit but am not sure what to aim for. I don't have anyone to talk to about this and would love some input from real people. Any help would be great
I was told to aim for minimum BMI of 19 by a dietician. When under the care of my local ED team they suggested 54kg at 5ft 5, which is 19.8 BMI. Below 19 seems to mess with your hormones/periods etc IME. I was mid 40s when I started restricting and it has caused early menopause and osteopenia, not much fun.
