I did use it at one point and actually found it helpful and it made me feel less alone and isolated. I used it for BED btw.

it seems really sweet, I like the motivational messages and pictures of baby animals :)

but is big leap from very private calorie counting

did you do it on a self-help kind of basis or linked to a team?

Self-help, it was about 2 years ago I think, I had forgotten about it. I have used sooo many different tools and read so many books about the subject! I can say more about it if you're interested and think it'll be relevant yo your situation, ie my problem was (and still is sometimes) eating too much not to little

I use it alone, but i sometimes talk to the therapist about it if that makes sense.

apart from medical risks specific to different behaviours I think all these problems and their treatment are v similar really - restore healthy weight and regular eating, find ways of coping other than misuse or avoidance of food?

I like that the app isn't specific to a certain ed, and is a lot about emotions.

No sorry I the app isn't specific to any ed, but I could go on for hours probably about a combination of things which helped me feel better, but probably only relevant to bed Smile

feel free to go on at whatever length you like!

is always encouraging and helpful to hear how other people get through or over these things, can feel very scared at times of becoming stuck in a pattern of thoughts and behaviours that will never find a way out of (probably because mostly am not that motivated, it might be destructive but it's comforting in its way Blush)

will familiarise self with the app but not sure about sharing the stuff I enter into it, but can see benefits of meal plans etc being in there already

is v easy to use isn't it

Sorry, realised I have been using the "rise up" app. As you were.

this doesn't seem to be specific to any particular set of problems

although it seems to anticipate what might be going through my mind at any particular time

Oh I don't remember the meal plans! Maybe it's got more stuff in than it had when I used it though. I used to like it when I received a message from some unknown person who cared enough to send it to a stranger, and I felt much less isolated and alone Smile

I've just downloaded it, looks good. I like all the options for it.

yeah I don't know if the idea is that your treatment team somehow put your meal plans in there for you if you can just do your own thing?

want to do own thing definitely
